In the center of Seoul, South Korea, a Korean lives on a 20-meter-high traffic tower in order to protest against the Korean company Samsung.

Jin Rongxi, 61, has lived on the traffic tower for almost a year. Thirty years ago, he claimed to have been fired for trying to organize a trade union at Samsung. He said he will not stop protesting until the company improves labor rights.

Samsung said in a statement, “Contrary to certain allegations, Mr. Kim ’s dismissal complies with company regulations. Samsung regrets the current situation and tries to resolve this issue.”
